MealUP Offline, just like MealUP, is a tool to record the meal reservations for pupils in the schools in a simple and intuitive way. Progetti e Soluzioni chose to develop an Android app in order to expand the range of the possibilities by which the reservations can be taken, by using either a Smartphone or a Tablet, and to make things easier for the players involved, be they the Municipality, the Catering Company, the teachers or the personnel in charge for the acquisition of the reservations. You will need to download the app by Google Play and enter the activation code. Afterwards, you will just have to login using your own username and password and proceed to the actual reservation. After selecting the date, the school and the class, it will be possible to take note of the presences, the absences and the white meals, to add optional notes – if necessary – and finally to confirm the gathered data. MealUP Offline collects the full details of the daily meals in offline mode; these data will be then managed by the cooking center for preparing the meals, and by the Municipality for controlling and accounting, thanks to the Internet connectivity by Wi-Fi or 3G.
